Isabella Bannerman
As a balance to my weekly cartoon strip for “Six Chix”, I like to paint landscapes. For the landscapes, I use the water based medium called gouache, and for the cartoons, I use a combination of pen and ink and a digital tablet and stylus. As a cartoonist, I’m inspired by human nature, especially as we confront technology and current events. As an observer of landscape, I am inspired by changing cloud patterns, and the changing colors of light on the Palisades.
