I love to paint. I am drawn irresistibly to the landscape, to its forms and colors and particularly its light, which varies so dramatically throughout the day and throughout the seasons.
Beauty is always an important consideration. I cannot paint a subject unless I see something beautiful in it, something that makes me grateful to be here to wonder at it all.
