Relationships and communication are my deepest passion and throughout my life’s journey they have always been my core focus. I spent many years as a health care provider and family therapist in Germany, and most recently I taught stone sculpting to visually impaired youth in Oregon.
Creating and teaching art has become my vehicle for exploring and understanding the dynamics of human relationships. My work is often comprised of various pieces and the sculptures are meant to be touched and rearranged by the viewers. Each individual piece stands for itself but is also a lively and important part of the whole.
To me, the purpose of art is to express the complexities of relationships and offer us ways to explore our own culture, beliefs, and viewpoints. petrabambrink.com
